University of Findlay to Host Annual Health & Wellness Fair
The University of Findlay will host a health and wellness fair from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, in the Koehler Fitness Complex. Members of the UF campus community can explore ways to live a healthier life and learn about resources they can use in a practical manner. With 35 different vendors scheduled for the event, attendees will have access to a wide range of educational health displays.
Health professionals will perform health screenings and provide information. The health checks and screenings include blood pressure, fasting blood sugar, body mass index (BMI), and HIV testing.
Other items of interest for guests include healthy snacks, a free chair massage (limited number), an inflatable lung, exercise demonstrations (at 10:30 a.m., 11 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and noon), body detox information, and more.
Free flu shots are available to UF students, with the first 200 recipients receiving a swag bag. UF faculty and staff may purchase a flu shot for $25 (cash or check only).
The UF Cosiano Health Center sponsors the health fair annually.
