The University of Findlay’s Concert-Chorale and University Singers are set to present the Reist Family Fall Choral Concert. They will take the stage in a powerful choral concert centered around the theme Feel the Spirit on Sunday, November 2 at 3 p.m. at the Winebrenner TLB Auditorium.
The Concert-Chorale will perform John Rutter’s inspiring Feel the Spirit, a seven-movement work that reimagines beloved African-American spirituals such as Steal Away, Joshua Fit the Battle of Jericho, and Deep River. This moving arrangement blends rich choral textures with soulful melodies and rhythms, capturing the emotional depth and historical resonance of the spiritual tradition.
The University Singers will present selections from the iconic musical Les Misérables, bringing to life some of the most memorable songs from the stage.
The choirs will be under the direction of SeaHwa Jung, director of Choral Activities at the University of Findlay.
The performance is free and open to the public. Tickets are not required for the event. The estimated run time is 90 minutes.
