Women's Soccer Battles IUP to a Scoreless Draw
Indiana, Pa. – The University of Findlay women's soccer team battled to a scoreless draw against Indiana University of Pennsylvania on Saturday, Sept. 6th. Both defenses held firm for 90 minutes, with neither side able to find the back of the net resulting in a 0-0 game.
The Oilers tallied six shots, three of which were on goal, two shots coming from senior Payton Miller.
Senior goalkeeper Audrey Gibson-Zweifel anchored Findlay's defense with two saves, securing her seventh career shutout.
This result moves the Oilers to 1-0-1 overall on the 2025 season.
The Oilers will open their 2025 home schedule at DeHaven Field on Friday, Sept. 12 at 4 p.m. when they host the Ferris State Bulldogs.
