Today was a lot of fun! I was really pleased with how both squads executed the race plan. We wanted to make the trip up to Northwood to preview the course since they'll be hosting the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) championship in October. So the main focus was on working together and getting familiar with the course. We had a lot of great performances across the board with some new faces stepping up. This year we're just focusing on us and being the best version of ourselves, that's all we can control. I'm really excited about where we're at at this point of the season and looking forward to what's to come!
The Oilers will be back in action on Friday, Sep. 12 for the Warrior Challenge. The event will take place at Willow Metropark in New Boston, Mich., beginning at 5 pm.
